IFF Zenolide

Zenolide (ethylene dodecanoate, also known as musconate), an exquisite perfumery ingredient that mesmerizes with its sweet, clean, waxy, and slightly animalic musk aroma. It is a pale yellow clear oily liquid, has a remarkably high substantivity of 348 hours on paper, ensuring its long-lasting presence.

Be aware that at colder temperatures, it can solidify but can be easily melted by warming. However, it will re-crystallize if not fully melted.
